To aid in your stroller shopping journey, we reached out to three parenting experts — top mommy influencers Katie Stauffer and Ssonia Ong, as well as the founder of Mothership NYC, Miranda Padilla. The shopping team has also tested some top strollers firsthand and included some of our picks below.

What are the different types of strollers?

There is a wide variety of strollers for every lifestyle. One of the most popular builds is the classic, canopy stroller which offers a shield to protect little ones from sun or rain. Newer models offer both front-facing and backward-facing strollers, as well as strollers that can convert into car seats and recline into bassinets — ideal for frequent travelers. “We loved, loved, loved the Veer,” Stauffer shared with The Post. “It was great because they had a lot of freedom and they sat facing each other.”

Back in Stauffer’s running days, this was her go-to stroller. “I think everyone agrees this is the best jogging stroller,” she said.

“This was the OG nice stroller back in the day and they’ve come out with a lot of really great strollers recently,” Stauffer told us. “It was a brand I always trusted, and I loved that everything was designed in Italy.”

Best Lightweight Running Stroller: Joovy Zoom360 Ultralight Jogging Stroller

This is the “number one jogging stroller,” in Padilla’s opinion. “Babies can sit in it as soon as they are able to hold their heads steady. It is suitable for serious running or everyday use. It is lighter than most other joggers, reclines far enough for a nap, and has a huge storage basket. It weighs 25 pounds.”

Pushing a stroller all day can be exhausting, especially for new parents. Finding a lightweight option like the Joovy will make those outdoor adventures much more pleasurable. At under $300, this is a great deal on an everyday stroller.
