Product: PAVILION TP01-0066
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I HAVE BOUGHT A HP PAVILION TP01-0066 PN: 6YQ86AA#ABA... AND I AM WANTING TO UPGRADE THE GRAPHICS CARD, A AMD RX 550. I WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE IT TO A, GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER, GRAPHICS CARD. CAN I DO THIS, IF NOT, WHAT IS THE BEST GRAPHICS CARD I CAN USE ??? THE AMD RX 550, HAS A PSU RECOMMENDATION: 400 W... BUT THE PAPER WORK SAYS, IT HAS A 310 POWER SUPPLY. THE REASON I BOUGHT THIS PC WAS TO UPGRADE IT, IT HAS A DEDICATED CARD, AND HAS A I-7 PROCESSOR. I CALLED HP ABOUT THIS AND THEY SAID I COULD, JUST ABOUT THROUGH ANY THING ON THIS PC, BECAUSE IT COULD HANDLE IT. PLUS PC MAG, SAYS THAT YOU CAN INSTALL A LOT OF DIFFERENT GRAPHIC CARD, ON THIS PC. INCLUDING THE ONE I WANT TO INSTALL...ANY ADVICE ON THIS WOULD BE APPRECIATED... THANK YOU,

@samson Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you would like to upgrade the graphics card.
I have checked the specification of your product. Also, checked the specification of the graphics card.
If you wish to upgrade the graphics card, you have to replace the power supply as well.
The graphics card requires450watts where your product has only310 W.
I hope you understand.

@SAMSON-,
First of all, typing in capital letters is considered shouting. I hope you did not mean to be so "loud".
I am linking my spreadsheet. It will explain variations of GPU cards and their required PSU with model numbers.
The actual GTX 1660 Super draws 125W max, but does require an 8 pin PCIe power plug. Because of this. IMHO you need the L05757-800 (500W PSU) which can be ordered from HP

Thank You, for replying to my question. And I am sorry, about using all capitol letters. I did not know about using all, Capitol Letters... I use all them because, it's easier for me to see the writing. My only other question is, would thisGeForce GTX 1660 SupperCard be able to fit inside this PC ??? Thank You,

@SAMSON-,
There is no 600W PSU that is HP designed for that series of computer. Only those PSU part numbers listed on the spreadsheet will work. Your existing 310W + 125W (GTX card) is less than 500W. That is why I said the 500W.

I appreciate the info on the PSA, but I still would like to receive a answer on this card-GeForce GTX 1660 Supper Card. Will this card fit into this HP Pavillion TP01-0066 ??? I know that, there are different, GeForce GTX 1660 Supper Cards with a lot of, different dimensions and Etc. I would appreciate if You would verify this... And pardon my ignorance on, reading the charts that you sent. But what I see is a comparison to a TG01-0107no with a Erica Board. And I would like to make shore, before I buy this PSA, and the card... THANK YOU,

@SAMSON-,
I can not find a published image of the Erica board. You will have to measure how much beyond the existing RX550 is available. Suggest you make a cardboard template 4.3" x 10", and lay it along side the back-plate of the RX550. If it is too long, cut off 1/2 inch and try again.
