Season 19: Ignite Release Date

Season 19: Ignite will begin in-game on October 21st, 2023.

New Legend - Conduit

Conduit is a new Support Legend, with the following exciting abilities:

• Passive - Savior's Speed
  • Gain a burst of speed when running towards a teammate out of tactical range

• Tactical: Radiant Transfer
  • Send a surge of energy to a teammate, generating temporary shields for them and Conduit when in danger

• Ultimate: Energy Barricade
  • Deploy an array of shield jamming devices which damage and slow enemies

Storm Point Map Update

The update to Storm Point centers around 3 ideologies:

• To add attractive, central POIs for players searching for combat
• Reduce overall map size to improve mid-game pacing
• Reduce friction of central rotations

New POI's

WATTSON'S PYLON

Intended to play into vertical cat-and-mouse gameplay, the Charge Tower at the center of the POI alongside the integrated Gravity Cannon add huge amounts of verticality and maneuvrability to reach the revamped Forbidden Zone.

ZEUS STATION

Zeus Station is located in the mountains near Lightning Rod, and is a symmetrical POI that replaces High Point. Whilst retaining the re-deploy balloon of Storm Point, this POI should make dropping on the high side of the map more viable; particularly as there is a rotation route through the mountain that connects it to Lightning Rod.

CETO STATION

CETO Station replaces Prowler Island, helping to resolve rotation friction issues alongside the debut of a new exciting drop point.

IMC ARMORIES

Only husks of the armories have been left behind in the Spectres wake, with high tier loot lingering around despite the Spectres now abandoning the location.

ECHO HQ

Replacing Gale Station, this new ECHO HQ is a giant base on the coast with a wide open interior, complete with various maintenance tunnels and a central zipline.

COASTAL CAMP

Coastal Camp was part of the dev's efforts to reduce overall map size, reducing playable space into a smaller, more focused area. With better connections to surrounding POI's and a new mountain rotation between this POI and Barometer, this is surely set to be an exciting spot in any match.

DEVASTATED COAST

Set within the ruined remains of Fish Farms, ECHO have installed a wall to reinforce the central river after a devastating flood wrecked the POI, whilst a crane-suspended building provides an excellent vantage point.

FORBIDDEN ZONE - REWORKED

Prowlers have been removed from the area, helping to reduce friction whilst rotating, whilst destroyed sections of the perimeter fence and additional structures allow for better defensive options.

LIGHTNING ROD - REWORKED

The overall size of this zone has been reduced to help make the interconnectivity of the surrounding POI's feel better, and potentially increase the number of players choosing to drop here.

Cross Progression

With the launch of Season 19, Apex Legends is set to receive Cross Progression in a phased deployment. Once in-game, you'll see a prompt to initiate the Cross Progression migration.

Unlocked Legends and inventory will be the same across platforms, with the exception of the following platform-exclusive items:

Ranked Update

Promotional Trials are set to debut with Ignite, allowing you to prove your skills to earn a promotion up to the next Rank tier. Upon reaching the peak of a Rank Tier, you will need to complete a set of time limited skill challenges to earn the promotion.

Skydive Holosprays

Equip Holosprays to your wheel and you'll be able to use them in-flight! They will follow your flight path for a window of time, or until an Emote or different Holospray is used.
